Okay, so I just “improved” the clients area a week or so ago. Being a little bit lazy (yes, I’ll admit it), I embedded a Bravenet login box for our client’s area. Well, all of the sudden Bravenet decided they wanted to stick a nice big banner ad at the bottom of our clients area. I said “forget that”, and I made a new login system. All of the logins have been moved over, so try it out and let me know how I can make it better!

We’re back! I was trying to upgrade to WP 2.8 and it erased my whole blog! We’re back, with the improvement that everything is at blog.hinctechal.com. Don’t worry, everything will get redirected automatically to where it needs to be!
Big thank yous go to Fantastico and WordPress for making the re-install effortless. Fantastico has been a great feature for one-click installation of complex scripts and WordPress is the priceless blogging platform I’ve used and loved for so long!
Hats off to these people. Also, please notice a few other new things:
1. Going to hinctechal.com/chat will allow you to launch chat and send you back to where you came from.
2. There’s a SitePal on the homepage that’s supposed to look like me and talks like me.
3. You can see our latest Twitter updates on the sidebar of the blog homepage.
The site is officially done for a while. Thanks for your loyalty. I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t have visitors. Since January, I’ve spent tons of time on this website, added every single feature that came to my mind. The site is finally done! Now, I need everyone’s opinion and feedback to make it better. Here at Houston Inc., we’re always coming out with new ways for you to stay connected with us – even when you’re not on the website! By implementing features such as RSS, OpenSearch, Web 2.0, toolbars, add-ons, accelerators, and a mobile version, we accomplish our mission. All of these things I run on my own computer. I’m about as picky with software as they get. If any of you out there would test this stuff out, it would be greatly appreciated.
That’s why today I’d like to announce yet another way to stay connected with us. Google toolbar is used by thousands all around the world. It’s got lots of functionality built right in to it! We know that many of you don’t want to take up that much-needed browser space with our toolbar. That’s why we’re giving Google Toolbar users another option.
As many of you know, one of the greatest features of the new Google toolbar is the ability to have gadgets and buttons. Google is allowing developers to create buttons and gadgets for their toolbar. So, that’s what we have done!
Our gadget allows you to do most of what you can do with our toolbar, while it lacks a few functions as well:
1. Easily read the latest headlines from my blog.
2. Search the site from anywhere.
3. Get a quick link to get to the site anywhere.
To get the gadget, make sure you have the Google toolbar. Then, CLICK HERE.
Clients, I realize that the Password Protect at the bottom of the homepage isn’t looking right. The provider for this code was Bravenet, and they changed it up on me while I’m out of town. I’m currently without access to DreamWeaver, the program I use to edit my website. The form still works, it just doesn’t look right. I apologize for the inconvenience. It should be looking right again within the next week.
Our custom website search has been re indexed. Along with this great change, it’s compatible to add right in to work with your browser! Use our search engine as an Internet Explorer 8 Search Engine/Accelerator or as a Firefox 3 Search Engine/Plug-In. Also, of course, you can download our toolbar! Our toolbar gives you access to all of our best content without even visiting our site! If you’re an iGoogle user, like I am, you can add it to your iGoogle page! Please try at least one of these ways to stay connected with us!
